I LOVE that dress and how you made it ready for fall/winter! This is one of my favorite outfits I have seen so far today.
ReplyDeleteI love this! The red/white stripes look so good with that camel cardy... I wish I owned items in similar colours.

Pretty! This is such a good look for those days when it was "transitiony" fall. And I could see you taking it even more winterized in a month or two!
ReplyDeleteYup, a bigger jacket and hat and all that jazz!
DeleteGreat way to transition dresses to fall! You look amazing!

I love this. "Winterized". That's too perfect. I love the detailing on the tights too.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Trying to trademark that word ;)

I love this outfit, and the colorful red stripes of the dress make such the grey november days (or well at least they are grey where I live, your photos actually look like more light than we have at the moment). I usually don't wear skin colored tights in the winter, I prefer warmer and darker tights (dark blue, black, brown, burgundy etc.), but I dress the same: Take a summer dress/skirt, add a cosy sweater/cardigan and some boots and ready is the little bit of summer in winter! Wonderful!

I'm typically into darker tights too! I think the slight pattern in this pair was a draw. Brighter colors can definitely help cheer up those drearier days. It gets plenty grey here in New England.
DeleteI miss summer so badly!
ReplyDeleteThis striped dress reminds me of long walks on the beach.
